The most popular discipline of self-defense in the world. Boxing is the best full body workout for fat-loss, cardio fitness and toning up. Boxing is often cited by medical doctors, trainers, and health & fitness writers as one of the most spartan forms of sports training.

A large percentage of members in New York City Boxing gyms are beginners, with no intention of sparring. And although all client athlete's are encouraged to try their hand at sparring, it's not compulsory. Everyone from beginners to pro's train using a similar system, drilling the basics of the sweet science, combined with conditioning exercises.
